Amber Jean Young is a Bay Area-based artist working in quilting and textiles. Her work is a compilation of fractured images of her natural surroundings. I encountered Amber's work through the Botanical show at Bedford Gallery. Amber's piece was one of the many that stood out to me. We became Instagram buddies and then I contacted her this fall.
