The only e39 other than the M5 that has M5 shocks is the V8s that have the M-sport pkg..and that would only be the 2003 540i (sedan w/Msport pkg in the USA). Other BMW markets got this special M-sport pkg in the 2000 model year. And remember, this pkg is NOT the same as the regular sport pkg.
